Riverview Cemetery — Weeping Woman

The Story

The Jackson family monument’s mourning woman is said to shift position or walk through the cemetery under a full moon. Local stories also claim she grants sincere wishes. A separate cemetery apparition is a man in a dark overcoat bending over Captain George Deming’s grave, interpreted as the captain mourning his child.
