The Story
A disappearing bartender is among the Union Hotel's most unusual stories: patrons reportedly received drinks from him before he vanished. HauntedPlaces.org also describes lights across the hotel switching on or off and staff feeling watched. The account belongs to De Pere's historic hotel, not other Wisconsin businesses called Union House.
