The Story
Summerwind's legends begin with Robert Lamont mistaking an apparition for an intruder and firing at it. Later occupants described shadows and inexplicable noises in the house. A much-disputed story added a body hidden behind a closet; it belongs to the mansion's supernatural mythology, not established history. The house burned in 1988.
