HauntedPlaces associates the inn’s footsteps with former resident Jane Porter. Her figure is said to cross from the dining room into the hall, while noises come from unoccupied rooms and storage overhead. Another spirit, called Patrick Marsh, supposedly hides belongings and later returns them; unexplained whistling is reported near the bar.
