The Story
Inwood’s older tale describes a smiling woman in a striped dress on the stairs and a child near the cellar. A commenter identifying himself as the owner later described toy sounds, humming, knocks and moving knobs, attributing some disturbances to a mischievous presence called Larry. These are attributed household reports.
The Hauntings

A commenter identifying himself as the owner later described toy sounds, humming, knocks and moving knobs, attributing some disturbances to a mischievous presence called Larry. These are attributed household reports. Former inn is not a current public attraction. Owner-identity claim in public comments is not independently authenticated, but the privacy warning is respected.
