The Story

Virginia Beach’s Ferry Plantation House combines a restored historic residence with reported window apparitions and owner-organized paranormal visits.

The Hauntings

The historic house’s paranormal program records a photograph taken in its parlor that appears to show a solemn woman in blue reflected in a window, though no similarly dressed person was present when the picture was made. The nonprofit recounts several investigator visits and other experiences associated with the home. This specific attributed image report is sufficient for the haunting tradition without making the ghost’s identity or a related family tragedy into fact.

The History

Ferry Plantation is a surviving historic house maintained for public interpretation. Its stories reflect several generations of local Tidewater history.
