The Hauntings
Virginia Tourism tells of Jennie Hill lingering after a fatal encounter with rejected suitor Tom Freeman, still mourning the future the couple never had. Story attributed as folklore. The source names Freeman, not Captain Hill, as the shooter; several weaker retellings confuse them.
