Haunted Magnolia Hotel

The Story

At Seguin’s historic Magnolia Hotel, proprietors tell of a brokenhearted Sarah, a former Texas Ranger and other reputed spirits in the restored and unrestored rooms.

The Hauntings

The present operators describe a house full of distinct presences. Their guided ghost tour leads visitors through rooms associated with a figure known as Ranger Campbell, a woman called Sarah and a murdered bartender, as well as the children’s room. A separate story associates a former music teacher named Deavors with a permanent room. The owners expressly say their tour is a historical and paranormal experience, not a staged Halloween jump-scare attraction. These named identities and encounters belong to the operator’s account, without treating every attributed criminal episode as a verified court record.

The History

Founded as a frontier hotel and stopover in the mid-nineteenth century, the building has gone through periods of adaptation and restoration.
