The Story
Employees quoted by the Rutherford County Historical Society identify two presences as Miss Jane and Grandma Elizabeth. One interpreter described looking up at a woman in an upstairs bedroom window when he knew the house was locked and empty; he found no one after going inside. Staff particularly associate activity with the grandmother’s bedroom.
