The Story
Inside of Knoxville reports musicians asking about a uniformed man with bright buttons watching from an unused upper balcony. Local tradition identifies him as General William Sanders, who died when the building was the Lamar House hotel. A guide also described flickering lights and normally locked doors swinging open on the former brothel floor.
