The Story
Woodlands and Waters retells local stories of a phantom dog panting near the Hutcheson homesite and a daughter’s cries continuing after her death. Other accounts describe Maston Hutcheson wandering the woods and shapes beside graves in photographs. The marked trail links the former homesites with Norton Cemetery; no standing haunted house survives.
