The Story
Preservation volunteers told The Times Herald of phantom cat sounds in Selma's basement, whispered words near visitors' ears and an electrically disconnected bedroom buzzer heard ringing. Investigators also described a dark form rising from a bathtub in the former servants' bathroom, an account tied specifically to the third floor.
