The Story
The Opera House’s legend is a repeating duel: two men appear on the front steps, fire at each other and collapse, supposedly still fighting over the same woman. Haunted Places places the original quarrel in the nineteenth century, a chronology that conflicts with the present building’s later construction and should be treated as folklore.
