The Hauntings
HauntedPlaces.org collects reports of flashing lights in the Wedding Suite and an unexplained chocolate smell in another guest room. Paranormal investigators also claimed a recorded voice answered a question about its name with Shaffer. Local tourism closure conflicts with travel-platform automatic open-now labels. Conservative closed-to-visitors status used until a current operator confirms reopening; no demolition claim.
A sense of place.
