The Story
HauntedPlaces.org collects lighthouse reports involving phantom tobacco smoke, laughter, tower footsteps and a door that opens or shuts without a visible visitor. Coins, especially dimes, supposedly appear in unexpected places. Its wider folklore includes a keeper's claimed Jersey Devil sighting at the tower in 1905. Supernatural sightings and unexplained coins are reported stories. Historical shipwreck-casualty figures are not repeated without separate verification.
