Lighthouse historian Jeremy D'Entremont told New Hampshire Magazine that he and his wife heard an unexplained greeting at the top of the stairs. Keeper Joshua Card is the name usually attached to the ghost. Other published accounts describe a uniformed figure, unseen footfalls and shadowy shapes.
