The Story
Mordecai House lore identifies a gray-dressed figure as former resident Mary Willis Mordecai Turk. Haunted Places says she is seen at the drawing-room piano, sometimes as a mist over the instrument. The combination of a named family figure and apparently unattended piano gives the house its best-known haunting story.
