The hotel's own account describes a gentle Pink Lady, associated with a woman in pink said to have fallen into the Palm Court atrium around 1920. Guests and employees have reported sensing or seeing her. In 1996 the inn commissioned Joshua P. Warren to collect accounts and interview witnesses.
