The Story
Unexplained piano music is central to Cottey's ghost lore. HauntedPlaces.org offers two possible identities: student Vera Neitzert, associated with Main Hall and the former Rosemary Hall, and music teacher Madame Blitz. The uncertainty is part of the story; the accounts do not establish who, if anyone, is responsible for the music. Historical explanations and identities are folklore unless independently sourced.
