The Story
Sauer Castle's folklore includes drifting lights, unexplained laughter and cries, and figures on the tower and widow's walk. HauntedPlaces.org also recounts a spectral couple said to dance in the tower. Supernatural account attributed, not a verified event. Historical backstory and present-day access require independent checking. Source contains an implausible 1700s construction date; that historical claim was not adopted.
