The Story
Ghosts of Indiana retells a legend in which the cemetery's first undertaker appears above the staircase and shows visitors a vision of their death. Conflicting counts on the ascent and descent supposedly determine the vision's fate. Other tales describe an unseen hand pushing people who stray from the steps. Supernatural claims are attributed accounts. Historical backstories have not been independently corroborated. Not Cloverdale Cemetery, a separate location.
