The Story
HauntedPlaces.org names actor Edwin Booth as one of the Springer’s reputed ghosts. Other unnamed presences supposedly meddle with stage props, play practical jokes, and occasionally appear onstage. The theater’s long performance history provides the setting for stories in which a departed actor or backstage hand seems unwilling to leave the production.
