The Story
Brenau’s campus legend centers on Agnes, an alleged former student whose apparition is associated with Pearce Auditorium. HauntedPlaces.org records incompatible versions: rejection by fellow students or a lost performance role, and a death near either the balcony or a supposed pool. Some tellers describe seeing her hanging figure in the auditorium. Agnes’s identity, motivations, and death location differ among versions; not an established student death.
