The Story
Local lore joins this former inn to Amstel House through a family ghost and an alleged underground passage. Delaware Haunted Houses says the spirit particularly favors the third floor, where windows and doors open or close and objects are moved. The two houses remain separate physical sites even though the same ghost is said to visit both. Former accommodation; current operation unverified. Tunnel and construction-date claims not independently established.
