Woodland, Delaware, United States

Historic house · local-legend

The Story

The Delaware Public Archives links two named figures with Cannon Hall: Julia Ann, sister of the house’s builder Jacob Cannon, and her daughter Luraney. Both are said to walk its halls after death. The archive’s account also records occupants feeling their presence, making this a family-centered haunting rather than the better-known tales of Patty Cannon.
