The Story
A ghost said to belong to the Finney family wanders the upper rooms of Amstel House and the separately located David Finney house, according to Delaware Haunted Houses. Windows and doors reportedly move without anyone touching them. An April 2023 visitor added an account of a woman passing from the dining-room doorway toward the parlor. Do not repeat directory’s erroneous seventeenth-century construction date. Tunnel claim unverified.
