Ghost Hunters investigators at the Old State House reported the sound of a doorknob turning in an empty Senate Room, according to Haunted Places. Another account describes a woman’s sigh in the Steward Museum upstairs. The haunting is chiefly auditory, attached to rooms now used to interpret Connecticut’s political and collecting history.
