The Story
Local lore describes a fatal argument between soldiers at the former tavern and a stain that would not disappear from its floor. Haunted Places links the story with a shadowy figure, footsteps, moving objects and doors opening unaided. Later residents reportedly attempted séances, after which they considered the activity more disruptive. Later inn operation reported closed; exact residence address withheld. Violent backstory is legend.
