The Story
The Green Lady is said to emerge in a green haze, smile, and disappear. Haunted Places connects her with Elisabeth Palmiter, who in local legend drowned while searching for her husband during bad weather. A wandering light is sometimes interpreted as his lantern, continuing the search after her death. Death circumstances and ghost identification are legend.
