The Story
Haunted Places records strange lights and an upstairs female apparition at the former Schwartz Hotel. Local retellings connect the building with a fatal dispute between a father and son, followed by a woman's death on the balcony. The account says the woman is subsequently seen in an upstairs hallway. It also repeats a violent family-dispute legend, which has not been historically checked.
