The Story
Colossal Cave's ghost stories include singing or moaning heard from within the passages and a male figure carrying a pickaxe. Haunted Places records both without securely identifying the man. The reports give the cave a worker-like apparition tradition, but do not rule out ordinary acoustic causes for the sounds or establish that a particular miner died there. Directory details may be historical. Address is directory-supported; exact mapping withheld.
