Wolf Bayou Bridge - Mama Lou's Bridge
North Little Rock, Arkansas, United States
Road or bridge · local-legend
The Story
Mama Lou's Bridge is the local name attached to a Wolf Bayou crossing and a story about a woman and infant lost in a vehicle accident. HauntedPlaces.org recounts reports of a woman in white near the crossing and cars behaving strangely, but does not substantiate the supposed accident. Research/access context: Its entry also says the original bridge was replaced in 2005. The profile therefore concerns the location of a bridge legend, not a surviving historic structure. No roadside stopping or ritual challenge is recommended.
