The Story
People working beside Claybank's historic church cemetery reported voices, bell-like sounds, shadowy movement and a heavy manual falling from a shelf in an empty room. Carol Gilmer later connected these experiences with the burial ground in The Ghosts of Claybank. The accounts mainly concern neighboring workspaces; they should not be mistaken for incidents observed inside the surviving log church.
