The Story

Tonsina River Lodge’s supposed resident is usually called Charlie. A paranormal-directory account says staff and visitors regard him as playful and repeatedly associate him with Room 18. The origin stories disagree sharply: some describe violence, others a personal tragedy, and another version simply says he loved the lodge too much to leave. That disagreement is worth preserving rather than selecting one death as historical fact. The stable part of the tradition is the named presence and its attachment to the lodge, not a verified biography of Charlie.
